This could have also been called 'spilled cream' instead of 'weekend bliss'.   I had painted flowers and fruits in oil and decided to just have fun, pouring some household paints over the oil.   This is how the interesting texture came to be and why the layers underneath were able to come through at places.  I think it is much more fascinating now than the still life underneath!
