"I came across Kira’s work when I saw one of her paintings as a small post card. I was immediately drawn to her painting style and the vibrant colours. For the past 3 years I had been looking for the right artist and art work for a large living room wall in our home. For the first time I felt that I had found the right person to fill this wall. When I met Kira we had a click straight away and when she saw the space and wall we had a long conversation about how she worked and what motivated her. I loved her approach of taking into account other art works that we already had in the living room and adjacent room as well as the colour schemes in the house. We talked about what was important to us and what we wanted these art works to reflect. It was such a pleasure to have these conversations and to unravel the possibilities that lay before us. I had full confidence in Kira creating something that would appeal to all of us. Only a few weeks later she presented her work, three 1x1m abstract mixed media paintings. Each work reflecting an aspect of our life. While these three works absolutely complement each other and form vibrant triptych which graces our living room wall, they equally work as individual paintings and my children have already put a claim on their favourite painting. Kira’s work really pleases all ages by their sheer vibrancy and joy. Her work immediately had such a positive effect to the living room and the mood the room now emanates. "I discovered Kira’s work recently at one of her open studio events and was completely blown away! Such great use of colour, space and movement. I think she’s is a real talent. Plus, it’s exciting to have such a serious artist in our local area! Kira’s also a lovely person, very warm, enthusiastic, intelligent and spiritual.
